Unlike the original DarkVault, which serves as a universal gear case for sensitive equipment, the DarkVault 2.0 allows for easy attachment of smartphones to plate carriers and chest rigs. This ensures that the phone is always accessible for tactical purposes like navigation, ballistic data, or ad-hoc mesh communication. Thyrm designed the phone holder and viewing window of the DarkVault 2.0 to be compatible with most smartphones available on the market, including those from Samsung, Apple, and Google.
