  Material Composition

  The Balaclava 200 is made from a carefully selected blend of materials known for their functional properties. Approximately 60% of the ski mask is made from merino wool, a natural fiber that is renowned for its excellent temperature regulation and moisture-wicking capabilities. Additionally, merino wool is odor-resistant, making it particularly suitable for prolonged use in cold environments or intense physical activities.

  Polyester, which makes up another 25% of the material, adds extra durability and shape retention. The remaining 15% is made of polyamide, which enhances elasticity and abrasion resistance. This combination ensures that the ski mask is not only exceptionally warm and comfortable but also durable and adaptable to varying weather conditions.

  The special Ullfrotté weave by Woolpower ensures that the fabric is highly breathable and effectively wicks moisture away from the body, promoting dryness and warmth. This weave features a unique knitting technique where fine merino wool threads are processed into a loop structure that acts as an insulating layer and provides excellent heat retention.

  Practical and Flexible Design

  A distinctive feature of the Balaclava 200 is the single opening, which can be configured to cover the face except for the eyes. The lower edge of the opening can be pulled under the nose or mouth for various ventilation options, allowing for flexible adjustment of protection according to individual needs.
